Ontime Macedon Cats named Club of the Year!

Congratulations to the Macedon Football & Netball Club, who we sponsor, for their outstanding on-field achievements in 2017.

Four Cats have been selected in the Ontime Delivery Solutions Football Team of the Year. Thomas Waters is named in the ruck, Shaun Harrison and Jason Cooke are in the forward line and Matthew Dick on the interchange. Jeff Andrews has been named as the team’s head coach.

Cooke had an especially dominant year kicking a league-best 73 goals and winning the league best and fairest.

The senior team is also into the grand final, which will be played on Sunday 17 September at Romsey Park.

On the netball side, Kym Grant’s stellar year was capped off by winning the B Grade league best and fairest.

And in the Team of the Year, a further three Cats were named with Janelle Birch in defence and Chloe Wilson and Katie Clarke on the interchange. Macedon’s Ciara Stewart was named as the head coach.
